LINKS: https://followstream.live/tv-show/acgym Our Men’s and Women’s Artistic gymnasts kick things off this weekend with the Senior International Finals to be staged across Friday and Sunday night, streamed live across the country via the SEN app, with all eyes squarely on who will perform their way to the Paris Olympic Games Australia’s Women’s Artistic Team earned a team place in Paris at last year’s World Championships and the competition is set to be fierce for the five spots on the team which will be announced next month. Similarly, for four of our top ranked Australian Men’s Artistic gymnasts, the event will serve as a vital tune up before heading to New Zealand later this month for the Oceania Continental Championships, where the best performing individual on the day from either nation will stamp their ticket to Paris. For the second week of competition, it will be the turn of the Rhythmic and Trampoline athletes to step into the spotlight with stunning displays of grace, artistry, and aerial prowess. “We are incredibly excited that it is once again the time of the year for the Australian Gymnastics Championships,” Gymnastics Australia Interim CEO Chris O’Brien said. “Our community loves coming to the Gold Coast and the added significance of it being an Olympic year gives them a fantastic opportunity to celebrate our athletes who may be bound for Paris. “Our athletes have enjoyed a series of stellar performances overseas this year with our Men’s and Women’s Artistic Gymnasts, Rhythmic Gymnasts and Trampolinists making finals and bringing home medals from Europe. “Now, Australians fans can watch them at their best either at the venue or on the live stream as our athletes strive to not only be national champions but, for some of them, to become part of the Australian Olympic Team.” Joining with Gymnastics Australia in a broadcasting capacity for the second consecutive year, SEN is continuing to build upon its reputation as a go-to source for Australian sporting fans. “SEN is thrilled to extend our partnership with Gymnastics Australia providing two days of high-end broadcast of the Australian Gymnastics Championships. With the Olympics just around the corner we couldn’t be more excited to showcase these amazing athletes as we head towards Paris,” said Trent Miller, General Manager of Television for SEN.
